Purpose of The Foundation

The Foundation was organized as a non-profit, educational corporation in December 1960 by Frederick C. Gloeckner to provide a source of financial aid for research and educational projects in floriculture and the supporting and allied fields, such as plant pathology, plant breeding, agricultural engineering, agricultural economics, entomology, and plant physiology related to floriculture and ornamental horticulture.
