Purpose of The Foundation

The Fred C.  Gloeckner Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit, educational corporation organized  in December, 1960 by Frederick C. Gloeckner to provide a source of financial  aid for research and educational projects in floriculture and in the supporting and  allied fields, such as agricultural economics, agricultural engineering,  entomology, molecular biology,  plant breeding, plant pathology, and  plant physiology related to  floriculture.  The Foundation is exempt from Federal Income  Tax as an organization described in section 501 (c) (3) of the code of  1954. The Fred C. Gloeckner Foundation and the Fred C. Gloeckner & Co., Inc. are two completely separate entities and there is no equity or ownership connection between them.
